How I got here…

For over 33 years now, my passion lays in designing and decorating even though florals were such a big part of my life. Getting to know my clients and sharing my passion with them is the best part of my job! I live, love and breathe my work. Making a difference in someone’s life through my creative designs is truly exciting. I feel so blessed and grateful to be seeing the joy in my clients’ faces and always having a Plan B!

In 1995 I opened a floral company called Floral Visions, designing floral for weddings, as well as storefront display windows, and decorating pubs and restaurants for the holiday seasons.

In 2001, Daniel Leaman & I decided to move to the Comox Valley where we created Krylea Creative Solutions, a full event design company including ceiling decor, backdrops, floral and décor. As time went by, Krylea Creative Solutions with Daniel’s amazing ceiling decor and lighting displays is no longer running. I sure enjoyed working with him.

After many successful years, I accepted the position at All-in-One Party Shop Rental from 2011-2017. I became their Head Designer, Florist and Decorator in the beginning of 2015.

This incredible opportunity broadened my skills, experiences and creativity even further. It sparked my interest to pursue additional certifications in Certified Wedding Event Design Planner and a Wedding Professional. After learning so much over the years of being in business I still had questions. This amazing course I took answered all of them.

So, I created another company called Wedding and Event Design by Christina in 2015, I took a couple of years off from 2023 – 2025. I missed decorating so much. Now in 2026 I have the great pleasure of working directly with you to make your event personal and one of a kind.
